I am actually having a hard time to become a value contributor. I just go with the flow and don’t try to add value to anything. I think the tips above can work but I wonder can you recommend a book related to this so I can start working on it.

Thanks Furkan for posting a comment. It’s great that you have identified an opportunity for improvement and you are being honest with yourself. I can definitely give you some additional pointers and steer you in the right direction. I am working on a book that will illustrate a more in depth look at becoming a value contributor. In the meantime, I recommend that you send me a message through our contact form with a bit more background on you and your situation and I will assist you further.

    Hey Braden!

I like your way of explaining things. I really think that changing your life is challenging but really rewarding! Anything is possible, even becoming a value contributor. Thanks for this great post.

You explained the process in a very simple way! This is great because I am naturally a very quiet person and in the past year have been pushing myself to be more social and approachable. Being aware of our thoughts is so important because if we do not stay focused we can allow the negative thoughts to creep in.

Thank you for listing out the attributes of a Value Contributor!

Hello Veronica – thank you for your positive feedback. Yes, negative thoughts creep in on a daily basis and we need to continually train ourselves how to identify them as soon as the “enter the room” so to speak and manage their presence. The good news is we can discourage them and reduce the frequency of their visits when we choose to put a plan in place to deal with them.
